AI Coach Feature
When you use the AI coach feature:
- Your questions are processed by our AI service provider to generate personalized financial advice
- Your profile information may be included in the context to provide relevant responses
- We do not store or retain your chat conversations or questions
- Chat interactions are processed in real-time and not saved to our servers
AI Processing: Your chat conversations are processed by our AI service provider to generate responses. We do not collect, store, or retain your chat data. Conversations are processed in real-time and not saved to our servers or databases.
Data Storage and Backend Services
Backend Storage
We store your data on secure backend servers to:
- Maintain your profile across devices
- Cache AI-generated content (missions, daily thoughts, side hustle ideas) for performance
- Track your progress and achievements
- Provide seamless experience when reinstalling the app
Data Security: Your profile and progress data are stored in a secure PostgreSQL database. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest.
Local Storage
Some data is stored locally on your device using iOS UserDefaults:
- Selected progress card choices (money decision points, commitments, weekly reflections)
- Trial status and premium subscription status
- Daily chat count limits
- Notification preferences
- App settings and preferences
Subscription and Payment Information
If you purchase a subscription through the App Store, payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We do not collect or store your payment information. Apple may share limited information about your subscription status with us, such as:

In-App Controls
You can manage your data directly in the app:
- Profile Settings: Update your profile information, goals, country, and currency in the Profile Settings section
- Chat Feature: The AI coach feature processes your questions in real-time and does not store your conversations
- Data Sync: Your profile and progress data sync automatically to our backend servers
Data Retention
We retain Your Personal Data only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy:
- Profile Data: Retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time.
- Progress Data: Retained to maintain your achievements, streaks, and progress history.
- Chat Data: We do not collect or store chat conversations. All AI processing happens in real-time and is not retained.
- Usage Analytics: Typically retained for 2 years for trend analysis and service improvement.
- Crash Reports: Retained until the issue is resolved, typically 1-3 months.
- Support Communications: Retained for 2 years for quality assurance.
- Subscription Data: Retained as long as legally required for financial records.
If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes.
